The O2, Greenwich — Morgan Williams advised Crosstree Real Estate Partners on their acquisition of a 50% share in the O2. In October 2018 the new Icon Outlet Centre opened, being the first phase of a 210,000 sq ft retail and leisure development on two levels around the concert venue. There is already 370,000 sq ft of leisure space within the development and this expansion seeks to capitalise on the exceptional footfall in the scheme and dense residential development in the area. AEG and Crosstree secured a £185 million debt facility with Lloyds Bank, with initial retailers including Levi's, Calvin Klein, Jack Wills, Karen Millen, Hackett plus UK outlet launches from brands such as Moleskine, Aspinal, Cheaney and the jewellery brand, Tateossian.
