Aviemore Retail Park is a new retail development providing over 50,000 square feet of Class 1 retail warehouse accommodation over a range of unit sizes.
Planning permission for 44,550 square feet of Class 1 retail space was granted in December 2016. Construction commenced in January 2017 with completion expected by October 2017.
The scheme benefits from 333 free parking spaces. Unit 2 (16,550 sqft) is pre-let to Home Bargains and Unit 3 (17,000 sqft) is pre-let to Aldi. Unit 1, measuring 11,000 sqft at ground floor with a 5,000 sqft nontrading mezzanine is available to let.
In addition to these three large retail units, consent is being sought for a further small parade of retail ͚pods͛. The application for these pods was submitted in February 2017 and consent is expected during Q2 2017. These pods provide a further 6,000 sqft of retail space (Class 1, 2 and 3 uses applied for but subject to planning approval) over 3 individual units. Amended subdivision can be considered subject to availability and tenant requirements.

Aviemore Retail Park occupies a prime site within the centre of the town of Aviemore in the picturesque setting of the Cairngorms National Park. The site is a short distance to the north of Aviemore Train Station.
Whilst Aviemore is a year-round destination, it is perhaps most famous for winter sports with the Cairngorm Mountain Resort located a short distance to the east. On peak days during the winter season, Cairngorm Mountain Resort can expect to attract over 3,000 visitors, the vast majority of whom will require to pass through Aviemore to access the slopes.
